Job Title: Mfg. Engineering Technician
Summary: This role provides technical assistance across the plant and collaborates with engineers to review, develop, and implement manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions include:
* Participating in establishing and deploying standard processes, policies, and procedures across the plant.
* Understanding, adjusting, and writing work instructions.
* Conducting research, data collection, and preparing daily reports.
* Performing experiments and investigations under engineer supervision.
* Collaborating with engineers to design, build, and test technical solutions.
* Leading small projects and participating in team initiatives.
* Auditing standard processes and utilizing continuous improvement tools to implement enhancements.
* Coordinating with other departments as required.
* Creating and designing signs/markings for operational needs.
* Utilizing software such as MAC-PAC, Nutech, SAPME, AutoCad, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Confluence, SolidWorks, and Word.
* Performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
* Experience with AS400 and/or SAP systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in a related field, or at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
