Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Costume Character Performer to join our Christmas team at Woolshops Shopping Centre, Halifax. In this role, you will play 'Ginge', our Cheeky Gingerbread man as he will be roaming around the centre for photo opportunities during the day.
The event itself is a one day session, running on the 15th of November from 10:30am until 3:30pm. With a fixed rate of pay of £ Live Times will be 11am-3pm with half an hour either side to help with setup and pack down.
Your role will be to roam around the shopping centre with your chaperone and entertain shoppers, interact with children (Through non-verbal communication) and provide photo oppertunities whilst keeping a high energy personality.
Skills
* Ability to be comfortable wearing a full body costume with a face covering.
* Background in theater or performing arts is highly desirable but not a nessesity.
* Ability to improvise and create engaging interactions without speaking.
* Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding.
