We are currently recruiting for a Bank Chef to join our Hospitality team at Runwood Homes. As a Bank Chef, you will have the opportunity to deliver hotel and restaurant-standard meals without split shifts or long hours. We seek a warm, motivated, and passionate individual who is driven by quality and high standards, to provide person-centred hospitality to our residents. Your role will support the wider catering team, covering sickness and annual leave, and assisting with planned events within the home.

About you:
* Previous experience in a catering environment in a similar role
* Understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements
* Ability to implement methods to meet these needs
* Food Hygiene Level 2, ideally NVQ Level 2
* A passion for food and delivering an exceptional culinary experience
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Roles and responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards in all stages of food preparation to ensure residents' well-being
* Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations
* Maintain portion control procedures to minimize waste
* Follow strict dietary requirements for residents
* Contribute to creating and developing new menu items
* Oversee kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance
* Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored
