An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North West Ventilation Unit for a Band 7 Ward Manager. This is a permanent post within a highly specialised department at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
Overview
The North West Ventilation Unit is a tertiary referral centre for long‑term ventilation and cough augmentation therapy, providing care for patients requiring long‑term ventilation (non‑invasive and tracheostomy) across the North West region.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote quality safe care through quality improvement projects, research and audit.
* Be visible, credible and lead by example as a ward manager.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in the field of non‑invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care/management.
* Desirable: Management experience.
