Children's Centre Administrator Based in Alum Rock, Birmingham £14ph Your new school lA Children's Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number if children parent groups. This is a long term temporary role to start as soon as possible and would be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Your new job You will be responsible for managing a busy reception desk and guiding service users to appropriate services available to them. The role will entail signing in visitors, dealing with telephone calls and general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and managing the email inbox. You will have strong IT skills as you will be using multiple in-house systems. What you'll need to succeed For this administrator job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
