Job Title: Shift Technician
CBRE is seeking a skilled Shift Technician to join our team in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant/equipment, and HVAC mechanical cooling/heating systems as per CMMS work orders.
2. Monitoring BMS for operational and alarm conditions.
3. Attending to A/C related client issues.
4. Performing building walk-rounds and taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's, and utilities.
5. Investigating faults, identifying causes, and implementing remedies.
6. Preparing accurate and timely reports.
7. Ensuring repairs are carried out according to current regulations.
8. Assisting with installation works when required.
9. Participating in emergency call-out rosters, including weekends and team member absences.
10. Developing a comprehensive understanding of the building portfolio, layouts, functions, and complexities.
11. Building trusting relationships with Facilities Managers, client staff, and representatives.
12. Ensuring compliance with safe working practices, quality standards, and best practices.
13. Contributing ideas and initiatives to improve service levels and delivery.
14. Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the Customer Services Supervisor or Contract Manager, based on experience and competencies.
Qualifications & Skills:
* 12-hour rotating shift work.
* City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
* Good building services knowledge.
* Experience in Critical Environment settings.
* Excellent customer relationship skills.
* Knowledge of 'Permit to Work' systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and processes.
* Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
* 17th Edition IEE Regulations.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Time-served electrical apprenticeship.
* Experience working in a banking environment.
* HV switching qualification/experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of ACoPs L8.
