Quality Assurance Tester
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on relevant skills and experience) plus generous benefits.
1 Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover until January 2027.
Hybrid working split between the Foundation's office in London and home, usually averaging one-to-two days in the office per week.
About the Role
Are you a proactive, detail-driven tester looking to bring your skills to a purpose-led organisation where your work genuinely changes lives? As a Quality Assurance Tester, you'll play a key role in safeguarding the quality and performance of our digital platforms, including our application portal and D365 Grant Management System. You'll plan, execute, and automate tests across web and mobile applications, ensuring every feature meets our quality benchmarks and delivers a seamless experience for grant applicants and Foundation team members alike.
In this role, you'll build strong cross-team relationships in a collaborative, supportive environment. Working closely with the technology development team and other stakeholders, you'll integrate testing into development workflows to ensure all development outputs meet established quality criteria through comprehensive testing and issue tracking. What are we looking for?
* Proactive, detail-oriented QA Tester with a passion for delivering high-quality digital products.
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and extensive knowledge of different testing methods, including manual and automated testing techniques.
* Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
* Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and understanding of API testing and web services validation.
* Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams and can confidently work with developers and other non-technical stakeholders.
* Appreciation of the power of sport to change lives and genuine interest in helping the Foundation achieve its charitable and strategic objectives.
