Private Client Solicitor
Salary: £40,000 – £52,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid Working Supported)
Experience: 2+ years' PQE (Private Client)
Are you looking to join a newly launched office with the support of an award-winning regional law firm? Our client is seeking a Private Client Solicitor for their new Stoke-on-Trent office. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape a new team, influence office culture, and support clients in a people-first, growth-focused environment.
The Opportunity
* Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, powers of attorney, and tax planning
* Advise individuals, families, and business owners on complex private client issues
* Draft and review wills, trusts, LPAs, and related documentation
* Work closely with colleagues to build the office's reputation and presence in the Stoke area
* Engage in business development, networking, and building new client relationships
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies
* Collaborate with colleagues to help shape the new office's direction and culture
What We're Looking For
* Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in private client law
* Experience managing own caseload of wills, probate, trusts, and estate matters
* Strong client care and communication skills
* Commercially minded, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
* Ambitious, collaborative, and motivated by the challenge of growing a new office
