Salary: £36,000 - 41,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a keen DevOps Engineer with a collaborative mindset and a strong desire to keep learning and improving. We need experience working with Linux environments. We need experience with Ruby on Rails, WordPress, and NuxtJS applications. We need experience with PostgreSQL. We need experience across cloud and on-prem environments, including Azure, AWS, and Proxmox. We need knowledge of CI/CD tooling and deployment automation. We need experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Ansible. We need experience with containerisation. We need experience with monitoring tools, ideally Zabbix. We need someone comfortable taking ownership of secure, reliable production environments. We value experience in incident response, backups, database management, and disaster recovery. We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a close-knit, collaborative team. Responsibilities: We will have you help manage and evolve the infrastructure supporting our portfolio of web applications. We will have you work hands-on across both cloud and on-premise environments. We will have you own the reliability and security of our production environments. We will have you support deployments through well-designed CI/CD pipelines and automation. We will have you monitor systems effectively and respond to incidents when they arise. We will have you manage databases, backups, and disaster recovery processes. We will have you collaborate with developers to improve delivery, architecture, and operational workflows. We will have you contribute to ongoing transformation within our Digital Transformation Team.
