The Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and safe delivery of practical science lessons. You'll work closely with teaching staff to prepare and maintain equipment, set up experiments, and ensure that all materials are ready for engaging and hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, set up, and test scientific apparatus and materials for lessons.
Support teachers in delivering exciting and practical science experiments.
Maintain and organise laboratories, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good working order.
Follow health and safety procedures and assist with risk assessments.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and keep records up to date.
Provide technical support and guidance to both staff and students where needed.

Relevant laboratory experience or a background in science (e.g., A-Levels, BTEC, or degree).
