Permanent Ward Veterinary Nurse - High Wycombe, Berkshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal referral practice in High Wycombe for a Permanent Ward Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role:
9. This is a full-time position.
10. Established Referral practice
11. Duties in the role include nursing orthopaedic. Neurological, soft tissue, oncology and internal patients.
12. The Nurse will be based in the kennels and cat ward.
13. The role will involve liaising with the surgical team relating to the recovery and nursing care of the patients from anaesthesia.
14. The Nurse will be expected to provide a high quality of care to all patients.

20. All of the team are supported by interns and they all are working closely with their in house rehabilitation department.

27. They Nurse will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with colleagues in particular the surgical team with ease

29. They Nurse will be able to use their own initiative and be able to self-motivate.
30. The Nurse will be able to multitask
31. Previous referral experience would be an advantage but not essential to the role.
32. They will be passionate, motivated and have the drive to continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge
33. They will provide an excellent service to all clients and be able to build rapport easily
Package
34. Salary: Up to £31, per annum, commensurate to experience
