Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in a structured and nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils’ academic progress, confidence and independence.
The Role
Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs on a one to one and small group basis
Assist the class teacher with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
Implement behaviour strategies using a trauma informed approach
Encourage emotional regulation, resilience and positive engagement
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teaching team
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and leadership to ensure consistent support
