Utility Surveyor
Centara Ltd is a surveying business that works with a variety of prestigious clients across the UK. We are based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, but the role requires occasional visits to the office and full travel across the country. A full clean driving licence is required.
What you’ll be doing
* Undertake site work using GPR and EML techniques for on‑site service clearance in preparation for intrusive site investigation works.
* Process, draft, and produce utility mapping projects to PAS128 standards.
* Manage ongoing projects.
* Liaise with external clients and internal site investigation teams for project scheduling.
What we’re looking for
* A good level of experience of undertaking utility mapping surveys using electromagnetic detection and ground penetrating radar.
* Aptitude to work independently and as part of a team.
* A willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication is essential to the role.
* Self‑motivated, with diligence, integrity and ambition.
* Willingness to travel around the UK.
* Adherence to technical and operating procedures with a strong sense of health and safety awareness.
