About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll work across primary, secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools in Welwyn, supporting teachers and helping pupils achieve their potential. Responsibilities of a Supply Teaching Assistant
1. Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of age groups and abilities.
2. Assist pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs.
3. Create a nurturing and engaging environment to support academic and personal development.
4. Adapt to various school environments and be proactive in meeting the needs of each setting.
5. Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
What We're Looking For
1. Experience working with children or young people (classroom experience is a bonus but not essential).
2. A passion for education and making a positive impact on students' lives.
3. Flexibility to work across primary, secondary, and SEN schools.
4. Strong communication and organizational skills.
5. A willingness to adapt and learn in different educational settings.
6. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
