Scholarship Award: £29,600 per annum

Scholarship available from 1 September 2026 for one year initial term, renewable for up to three years subject to satisfactory progress.

The scholarship provides an opportunity to study for a postgraduate qualification in clinical pathology (Diploma of the European/American College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology). The training programme is approved by the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology.


Responsibilities

* Core training in all aspects of clinical pathology: laboratory management, quality control, haematology, biochemistry, cytology.
* Undertake a research project.
* Participate in small‑group teaching of undergraduate veterinary students.


Qualifications

* Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) or hold a veterinary degree qualifying you for membership.
* At least two years of experience in general practice or a minimum of twelve months in a rotating internship.
