About Our Client
Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. They are offering a salary up to £38,000 which is dependent on experience. The successful candidate will be joining a great team and play a vital role in their finance function in Ilkeston within the Retail sector. This is a fully office based position in Ilkeston.
Job Description
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
3. Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
4. Preparing financial reports
5. Various reconciliations (bank and credit)
6. Managing cash flow
7. Purchase ledger and sales ledger management
8. Maintaining and updating financial records
9. Perform credit control
10. Assist with year end accounts
11. Managing payroll
12. Adhoc duties that may be required (admin / HR)
The Successful Applicant
The successful Bookkeeper:
13. Previous experience in a similiar role is essential
14. Knowledge of accounting software
15. Strong Excel skills
16. Ability to manage workload effectively
17. Excellent communication skills
18. AAT Qualified
19. Strong numerical skills
20. Strong accounting experience
