Our client is seeking a Part Time Sales Administrator to join their small but expanding and dynamic company. The role offers flexible working hours from 9am to 12pm, Monday to Friday, in the office.
The responsibilities include processing customer orders and raising invoices, assisting with export documentation, liaising with customers and the warehouse to ensure timely delivery via telephone and email, updating customer portals, chasing aged debtors, managing customer complaints, and ensuring they are resolved promptly. Additional duties involve sending out samples, booking couriers, maintaining a clean and stocked stock room, filing and archiving documents, checking daily post, answering calls, handling inquiries, and performing general ad-hoc tasks such as emptying the dishwasher, preparing teas and coffees, and setting up the meeting room.
The ideal candidate will have experience in order processing, with a preference for those familiar with export documentation and Sage accounting software. Key qualities include being a team player, capable of multitasking, and possessing excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
Occasional assistance with bringing pallets of goods into the office will be needed, in collaboration with other team members.
Salary: £12.30 – 13.50 per hour
