Crematorium Grounds Keeper Location: Charlton Park Crematorium. We’re looking for a dedicated Grounds Keeper to help keep our beautiful Charlton Park Crematorium looking pristine and welcoming every day. What you’ll do: You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the dignity and peacefulness of our site, ensuring that visitors are met with well-kept grounds, tidy paths, and an environment that reflects the care we show every family. Your day-to-day will include: Sweeping and maintaining car parks, roads, walkways, and public areas using specialist equipment (training provided) Managing the appearance of the flower terrace and respectfully removing weathered tributes Mulch and turn over ashes scattered across the grounds respectfully. Keeping signage clean and visible, and bins regularly emptied Supporting safe access by clearing debris and monitoring site conditions Assisting with car park management, deliveries, and occasional forklift work (training available) Support coffin deliveries and transfers between the Amesbury warehouse and Andover locations. Dismantle repatriation coffins, including zinc linings, and arrange for appropriate disposal.
