We currently have a vacancy for an experienced CNC miller to work at our site in Great Baddow, Chelmsford. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team manufacturing prototype and small batch components.
Responsibilities
* Manufacture of small batch / prototype and production components ranging from highly accurate aerospace components through to lab use demonstrator items.
* Program, set and run 3‑axis CNC milling machines using CAD/CAM software and also via the machine control.
* Operate manual milling machines and lathes.
* Work on own initiative and demonstrate a flexible working attitude.
Essential
* Experienced CNC milling machinist.
* Able to program, set and operate different machine tools, as well as operate manual milling machines and lathes.
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Engineering (or equivalent) or higher.
* Apprentice trained.
Desirable
* 3D CAD/CAM programming experience.
