Role Overview
The role of a Service Maintenance and Repair Technician is multifaceted and impactful. Due to a successful year, we are expanding the team. You will be the friendly face providing first-class service and repair work at customers’ workplaces or homes. As part of our mobile mechanic team, you will attend appointments to complete service inspections, handle breakdowns, provide on-the-spot repairs, and keep operations running smoothly. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will help you excel in your role. What Will You Be Doing?
* Communicator: Master diagnostics and delight customers by sharing knowledge clearly, ensuring they feel safe and cared for
* Self-starter: Thrive working independently or in a team, driving to various locations in all weather conditions. No two days are the same, with appointment-based work and breakdowns
* Fixer/Problem Solver: Use your technical ability to solve various issues, whether fixing vehicles roadside or attending appointments. Be the solution bringer and help customers get back on their day
* Be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, ready for anything, anytime, anywhere, in any weather. Provide confidence and support to drivers now and in the future.
What Do You Need?
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience
* Full Category B driving licence with 6 points or less
* Flexibility to work hours that could include evenings
