We champion the unique needs of individuals with diverse needs, offering tailored home care and supported living services that empower them to live life to the fullest.</p><h3>HR Advisor</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor (CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, or equivalent HR experience) to join our busy and growing People team. This is an exciting opportunity for a personable HR professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality HR support and providing practical, compliant employment advice within a fast-paced and evolving organisation.</p><p>The successful candidate will combine strong HR advisory expertise with excellent HR administration skills, supporting a broad range of people activities across the employee lifecycle. You will provide guidance on employee relations matters, support onboarding and performance management processes, maintain accurate HR records and systems, produce HR documentation, and ensure the efficient administration of day-to-day People operations.</p><p>We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work accurately under pressure. In return, you will join a supportive and ambitious team where you can make a meaningful impact, contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices, and benefit from ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Contribute to the smooth running of the People team. Use your expert HR and employment law knowledge to provide clear advice and support to the services.</li><li>Support and coach managers with matters such as disciplinary, grievance, absence.</li><li>Review current policies and practices and ensure all policies are fit for purpose in collaboration with the Head of HR and People Director.</li><li>Be pro‑active in challenging what is currently in place and how improvements can be made.</li><li>Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing colleague experience, improving retention, and increasing overall employee satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure compliance sign‑off and auditing of all new starter documentation and onboarding packs, maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment legislation.</li><li>Work with key stakeholders to understand HR requirements and provide practical solutions to business challenges.</li><li>Be able to understand and provide HR reporting as required for the different services.</li><li>Work towards and achieve both personal and team targets on a monthly and weekly basis.</li><li>Travel as and when required.</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3><ul><li>CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards, or equivalent HR experience.</li><li>Strong HR and Employment law knowledge</li><li>Strong, clear communication skills both verbally and written.</li><li>Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.</li><li>Experience of using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee records.</li><li>The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and strong problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Highly organised and skilled in managing multiple HR projects/work and priorities.</li><li>Positive friendly attitude.</li></ul><h3>What can we offer you?</h3><ul><li>Salary up to £37k</li><li>25 days annual leave + bank holidays</li><li>Hybrid working – 4 days office-based and 1 day working from home</li><li>Free on-site parking</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme offering counselling and other support services</li><li>Refer a friend bonus - £250 (Terms & Conditions apply)</li><li>Employee Recognition Awards</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Company social events</li></ul></div>
