In this role, you will be responsible for the account management and development of our Marine, Oil and Gas and Offshore customers, based across the Northwest area.

What does the role involve?
Within the Offshore Division we partner with a range of customers across Marine, Oil & Gas and Off-shore Wind Industries, bringing them value added solutions to their maintenance and repair operations, new build, decommissioning and manufacturing activities. Hilti supply best-in-class power tools, fixings and fastenings, inserts, firestop, multi-discipline support systems and asset management solutions. As well as this, supporting the Hilti product portfolio in our Offshore division are Oglaend System – A Hilti Group Company with a well-established brand in the offshore and marine industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Develop and grow the profitable sales of Hilti solutions to your geographic territory accounts.
2. Develop clearly formulated strategies for your accounts to generate measurable contributions to your customers and our profitability.
3. Work pro-actively with key decision makers within contractors, relevant businesses and suppliers to understand their business needs and maximise sales.
4. Develop sales opportunities for both existing product range and new product.
5. Increase engagement with customers for the long term - focusing mainly on the highly engaged customers to drive more business and growth within for both products/services.
6. Establish a consistent working relationship with the Business Developers, covering major accounts to ensure continued sustainable profitable growth.
7. Maintain a high self-drive and commitment to results at all times.

What you need is:
20. Proven sales experience in a B2B technical sales role (industry experience is preferred but not essential, ideally in an oil and gas/marine or offshore segment)
21. Ability to build long term relationships to allow penetration of large and important accounts.
22. Passion for learning about customer businesses and develop relevant strategies.
23. Experience of negotiating significant pricing and trading agreements (. ability to understand margins and volume related discounts).
