Business Development Manager - Safety Field based – Ideal candidate to be located Greater Manchester area Hours of Work – Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with safety/PPE sales experience to join our Safety Sales Team here at Lyreco. As our Business Development Manager, your focus will be to work with our Small to Medium Business (SMB) sales teams to grow PPE product sales by developing existing and new customer opportunities. Training will also be a key aspect of the role in order to promote and grow the category within the existing sales community. As a Business Development Manager your responsibilities are to: Identify new leads and prospects to promote our Safety profile and win new accounts within the PPE sector Work with Account Managers to develop, manage, and analyse the PPE Pipeline for your allocated area Consistently achieve defined sales and margin targets through winning and implementing spend in PPE Attend in-person customer-facing meetings at least 3 days a week The ideal Business Development Manager will have: Solid experience in identifying new leads and prospecting, promoting a Safety profile and winning new accounts within the PPE sector, with previous PPE experience in a similar role A proven track record of winning and developing business in a PPE customer-facing sales environment Strong analytical and mathematical ability, with good commercial acumen.
