Are you a Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting and challenging role within a busy department? You may be recently qualified or have more experience and are looking for a change.
We are looking to recruit a Rotational Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly, patient-centred Pharmacy team based within the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex. This role will be a part of both the dispensary and ward based pharmacy teams.
For this role you will need to be registered with the GPhC with experience of medicines reconciliation at ward level. You will also be required to have achieved a Regional Final Accuracy Checking Accreditation.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for providing an accurate and efficient service in the pharmacy dispensary and on wards, to include dispensing prescriptions, leading, final accuracy checking prescriptions. medicines reconciliation and preparing for patient discharge. You will need to be a highly motivated and responsible individual with a passion for customer service and team work.
You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills further through our development programme supported by a friendly and experienced team.
Working patterns will include some late standby shifts, on-call, weekend and bank holiday working.
