Berry Recruitment is seeking a hard‑working, reliable and organised Sous Chef to join our client based in Sittingbourne.
What you’ll be doing
As Sous Chef you will manage daily kitchen operations, lead the team as second in command in the Head Chef's absence, and ensure high-quality food standards.
* Help to supervise, mentorstaff
* Deliver high-quality food using fresh, local produce
* Support the Head Chef
* Cook to menu ususally traditonal British fayre
* Preparing fresh food made from seasonal, local ingredients.rmation and controls
* Maintain excellent health, hygiene and food safety standards
* Stock taking, ordering and stock rotation if required
* Cost controls and waste management
A hygiene qualification, excellent food knowledge and food safety awareness are all essential for this role.
Pay rate
£15.00 per hour
Location
Due to limited public transport, having your own transport is ideal.
