Join Our Team as an SIU Investigator

AXA Insurance is seeking a dedicated SIU Investigator to join our NI Claims team, focused on deterring, detecting, and investigating fraudulent activity across all areas of the business.

You'll work majority of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What You'll Do:
* Review Red Flag Referrals from claims handlers within the agreed service level, making suggestions for refinements as necessary
* Proactively investigate potential fraud in claims (PI, ADTPD, Home, Farm, SME as required) using mostly predefined processes and procedures but at times using your own initiative, manage cases to conclusion and deals with customer as necessary, which may involve interviewing, to achieve required savings
* Maintain SIU Case Management System and relevant spreadsheets fully utilising the software & training
* Prepare cases for court as required, instructing panel solicitors to secure the best outcome for AXA
* Deliver excellence in customer service, both internally and externally, maintaining an appropriate professional attitude when dealing with Customers, Third Parties, Suppliers and Solicitors and dealing effectively with referrals, complaints
* Maintain relationships within AXA and with external service providers
* Investigate potential fraud in other areas of AXA as required.
* Provide reports and updates as required.
* Undertake department and cross functional projects as necessary
What We're Looking For:
· 2 years’ experience in Motor Damage, Property or PI Claims (Essential)
· CII and/or 3rd level business or insurance qualification (Desirable)
· Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, claims handling procedures, SIU investigation procedures, AXA products and a passion for fraud investigation
· Working knowledge of the legal jurisdiction in which you operate
· Good PC and system skills with a knowledge of Solus
· Inquisitive and enquiring mind set
· Flexible and adaptable approach to work
· Working knowledge of CPC and Data Protection Guidelines
