Join our dynamic team in the assembly and fabrication of large-scale X-ray equipment. As a Tube Assembly Support Technician, you’ll play a vital role in preparing components through chemical cleaning and vacuum baking, managing inventory to meet production timelines, and assembling precision subcomponents. This position operates primarily within a semi-cleanroom environment and supports the daily operations of our chemistry lab, contributing to LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Perform thorough chemical cleaning of components in accordance with Class 7 cleanroom protocols.
2. Operate CamCo vacuum ovens to bake components as part of contamination control procedures.
3. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure timely availability of cleaned and baked parts.
4. Support the maintenance and daily operation of the chemistry lab, including safe handling of chemicals.
5. Assemble small subcomponents and perform leak checks and general assembly tasks.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of designated facility areas to uphold high standards of hygiene.

8. Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling.

Qualifications
13. Prior experience working in cleanroom or chemistry lab environments.
14. Familiarity with chemical cleaning processes and vacuum oven operation preferred.
15. Experience in component assembly or laboratory support roles is advantageous.
16. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
17. Comfortable handling chemicals and performing basic testing and assembly tasks.
18. Demonstrated experience in a chemical laboratory or cleanroom setting.
19. Technical training in laboratory procedures, assembly processes, or related fields is beneficial.
