The Kitchen Assistant/Domestic Cleaner is a dual role responsible for:
1. Assisting the Health Centre Cook with daily food preparation and serving meals.
2. Cleaning and tidying designated areas within the Health Centre to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for inpatients.

Main Duties
* Cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting in the health centre, including toilets.
* Preparing and serving meals, maintaining food hygiene standards, and recording food temperatures.
* Delivering meal trays, clearing away, washing dishes, and managing stock levels.
* Using appropriate equipment for cleaning floors and surfaces.
* Adhering to hygiene and infection control protocols.
* Performing additional duties as requested by the Senior Nurse Manager.

Working Pattern
6:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time plus 3 days before and after each term, totaling approximately 40.6 weeks per year with 5.6 weeks holiday entitlement.

* Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
