Class 2 HGV Driver - Aircraft Loaders - Fixed Term Until 31st October
Regular roster of 4 on 4 off shift, availability for 05:00-16:30 / 06:00-17:30 / 07:00-18:30/ 08:00 - 19:30, Overtime rate of 1.5, Free onsite parking, complimentary meals and refreshments, free uniform, free life insurance, company sick pay, pension scheme. Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment
Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- laws
Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork.
Plus any additional warehouse duties
Requirements of the HGV Driver:
Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)
Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card
Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage
You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn. In addition to job - related training, you will develop your skills in team work, time management, multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history. For anytime spent outside the UK exceeding 6 months, you must be able to provide a CRC (Criminal Record Check) for that country.
