The company powers next-generation alternative payment methods (APMs) and real-time settlement across emerging markets — enabling faster, smarter and more transparent payments for fintechs, FX brokers, e-commerce merchants, gaming operators, digital asset platforms, and other high-growth digital businesses. As part of their international expansion, they are looking for a Sales Director with deep expertise in Africa and/or South Asia, bringing a strong network and proven track record selling payment solutions across these regions. What you’ll be doing Alternative Payment Methods – Africa & South/South East Asia Owning revenue growth across targeted sectors: fintech, FX, gaming, digital assets, online commerce and high-risk categories Leveraging your existing connections across Africa and South Asia to open doors, accelerate deals, and win strategic accounts Positioning a suite of emerging-market payment solutions including: UPI and A2A rails (India & South Asia) Mobile money networks (Africa) Digital wallets, instant payout rails, real-time cross-border settlement & stablecoin-based options Leading the full sales cycle from market mapping through contract negotiation and long-term account growth Working closely with product, compliance and operations teams to deliver seamless integrations and customer success Monitoring regional market trends, regulatory shifts and competitive dynamics across Africa, South Asia and neighbouring emerging-market corridors What we’re looking for Alternative Payment Methods – Africa & South Asia Proven success selling B2B payments, APMs, cross-border, FX or fintech infrastructure A strong active network in at least one (ideally both) of the following regions: Africa – mobile money, PSPs, fintechs, FX brokers, wallets South/SE Asia Track record selling into high-risk or complex verticals (FX, gaming, crypto, digital assets, e-commerce, remittance) Strong commercial storyteller with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills Highly structured approach to CRM, pipeline management and forecasting Entrepreneurial mindset - thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments
