Taking place across venues and public spaces, Swansea Arts Weekend will showcase the city’s rich creative talent through live performance, exhibitions, workshops, and more.

We are seeking a producer with a track record of delivering ambitious and inclusive cultural events. You’ll be confident managing partnerships, coordinating teams, overseeing logistics, leading on visual arts scheduling, and ensuring high-quality delivery from start to finish.

* Manage production schedules, budgets, contracts, and event logistics.
* Work closely with the events marketing team.
* Commission and coordinate artists, venues, and creative teams.
* Oversee any event infrastructure, accessibility, licensing, and health & safety requirements, if any, that are not within any commissioning strands.
* Monitor progress against Council and Shared Prosperity Fund objectives and KPIs.
* Ensure that inclusion, sustainability, and creativity are at the heart of the weekend’s delivery.
* Lead on event delivery during the weekend and provide post-event evaluation input.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

* Considerable experience producing high-quality visual arts exhibitions and events with public-facing elements and multiple partners.
* Strong public events scheduling skills.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, including budget management.
* Confidence working across multiple art forms and formats, with a focus on visual arts.
* Experience working with local authorities, creative organisations, and community groups.
* A collaborative and inclusive approach to working with people.
* Calm problem-solving skills, particularly in live environments.
