We are proud to be working in partnership with a leading provider of children’s residential care to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for a well-established 4-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home based in Hatfield, Herefordshire. Role: Children’s Home Manager – Hatfield - Herefordshire
Salary: £55,000 (OTE up to £76,500 in your first year)
Bonus: £5,000 Welcome Bonus + Annual Performance Bonus (21% of your salary)
Commitment Bonus: Additional £5,000 upon 12 months’ completion
Annual Leave: 32 days including Bank Holidays

The Role: As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, development and management of the home, ensuring it delivers high-quality, child-focused care in line with regulatory standards.
Key duties include:
Ensuring the home meets and exceeds Ofsted and safeguarding standards
Leading and mentoring a team to deliver consistent, therapeutic care
Supporting each child’s emotional, behavioural and social development
Managing staffing, rota planning, supervision, appraisals, and development
Budget management and service planning
Acting as the designated safeguarding lead and ensuring safety and complianceWhat We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years’ senior-level experience in a children’s residential setting
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) – achieved or working towards
Strong understanding of legislation including Children’s Home Regulations and the Children Act 1989
Proactive, resilient, and hands-on leadership style
Full UK driving licence
