We are looking to recruit a Transport Manager for our Depot in Cragg Vale.

This role will involve:
* Maintain full compliance with Operator Licence undertakings.
* Ensure all vehicles are kept in a fit and roadworthy condition.
* Oversee PMIs, MOTs, brake tests, and defect rectification.
* Manage tachograph downloads (drivers & vehicle units).
* Lead on drivers' hours and WTD compliance.
* Maintain all required compliance records for legal retention periods.
* Prepare for DVSA and Traffic Commissioner inspections.
* Manage vehicle maintenance plans and VOR processes.
* Oversee ADR tanker compliance and equipment checks.
* Lead driver standards, training, inductions, and debriefs.
* Perform internal audits of compliance systems.
* Ensure safe, legal, and efficient scheduling and routing.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
* CPC Qualification (Road Haulage).
* Experience managing HGV fleets.
* Strong knowledge of DVSA, Traffic Commissioner, ADR and WTD regulations.
* Strong organisational, auditing, and record-keeping skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly with drivers and depot teams.
