Job Description:

Base Location: Gorbals Health and Care Centre (with cross cover required throughout Public Dental Service NHSGGC)
Department: Public Dental Service (PDS)
Contract Type: Fixed Term 6 months
Hours: Mon Friday 0830-1630 4 full days & 1 half day negotiable at interview
We are currently seeking motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dental Nurse within the Public Dental Service, Oral Health Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high quality patient care within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will provide clinical support across a range of PDS settings, including but not limited to:
* PDS Primary and Secondary Care locations
* Domiciliary care settings
* General anaesthetic theatres
* Prisons
* Schools (supporting the National Dental Inspection Programme NDIP)
Successful candidates will work with a wide range of patient groups, including:
* Paediatrics
* Priority and vulnerable groups (P&V)
* Unregistered and emergency care patients
Requirements
* Recognised Dental Nursing qualification
* Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
* Flexibility to work across various sites throughout the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area as service needs require
Working knowledge of R4 Clinical+ (Electronic Patient Management System)
Qualification in Inhalation Sedation
