Join our Motor Third Party Property Damage Team as a Team Leader, drawing upon your claims knowledge and people skills to organise, motivate and support a team of Claims Adjusters to deliver technical and operational excellence. The team is responsible for managing the claims journey from start to finish, including assessing legal liability, negotiating settlements and proactively navigating each claim to resolution.
You will have the chance to work with a diverse group of stakeholders, including clients, claimants, and other areas of the Crawford business. Responsibilities
* Your Team Leader duties will include:
* Leading, motivating, and developing your team to drive engagement, maintain a positive team culture, and ensure operational effectiveness through 1:1s, team meetings, and performance reviews.
* Acting as a role model by demonstrating and communicating our core values and vision.
* Ensuring team members understand client requirements, meet SLAs, and achieve KPIs.
* Managing individual Training and Personal Development Plans to enhance team and individual performance.
* Overseeing quality control, ensuring work meets required standards, and implementing improvements where needed.
* Supporting audit procedures and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assessing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and recommending improvements.
* Managing the team’s customer service and telephony performance, ensuring service levels and quality standards are met.
* Overseeing the work of specialist divisions appointed for technical support, ensuring alignment with team objectives and service expectations.
* Engaging with other divisions across the business to build the team’s profile, encourage collaboration, and support company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for a talented and motivated Claims professional—someone who not only understands and delivers first-class customer service but is also ready to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you’ll have experience in property claims handling, but we’re also interested in candidates with a strong Claims or Insurance background who are eager to develop their leadership skills.
