We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Assistant Brand Manager to join our Pastry division, working across some of the UK’s most recognisable household brands including Wall’s Pastry and Pork Farms.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a fast-paced, commercial FMCG environment, learn from an experienced team, and play a hands‑on role in driving brand growth.

The Role
This is not a “fluffy” marketing role – it’s a commercial, hands‑on brand role where you’ll work closely with sales, supply chain and cross‑functional teams to deliver real results.
You’ll support the delivery of brand plans, manage projects, and ensure execution is right first time across multiple touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the delivery of brand strategy and commercial plans
* Managing packaging and artwork from concept through to launch
* Working cross‑functionally with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations
* Supporting customer‑facing activity and meetings
* Coordinating product launches, samples and brand activations
* Tracking performance (e.g. rate of sale) and supporting analysis
* Managing multiple projects with a strong focus on delivery and detail
You’ll also have exposure to different sites and teams, with occasional travel to Crewe, Palethorpe’s and Poole.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, proactive and commercially minded.
* Ideally ~2 years’ experience in food/FMCG (chilled preferred)
* A self‑starter who takes ownership and drives things forward
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Commercial mindset – sales exposure is a real advantage
* Comfortable working cross‑functionally (not just marketing)
* High attention to detail, especially with packaging/artwork
* Keen, curious and motivated to build a career in brand
