The Role
As Lead Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will:

Deliver expert anaesthetic support across a variety of surgical procedures.

Lead, mentor, and support a team of anaesthetic practitioners, ensuring consistent, safe, evidence-based care.

Collaborate with theatre staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient pathways.

Oversee training, development, and competency assessments for the anaesthetic team.
*
Support clinical governance, quality improvement, and compliance with national standards and professional guidelines.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

NMC/HCPC registration as a Practitioner.
*
Post-registration qualification with substantial anaesthetic experience.
*
Proven leadership experience in theatre or anaesthetic practice.
*
Strong understanding of clinical governance, safety standards, and evidence-based practice.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to mentor and develop staff while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
