Are you seeking a leadership role that leads with vision, inspires with purpose and transforms lives through education?

Broadoak Academy is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Principal (Inclusion). This is a key role in shaping and delivering an ambitious whole-school vision for inclusion, ensuring every student experiences equity, belonging and the opportunity to succeed.

You will provide strategic oversight of SEND, safeguarding, attendance, pastoral support and student wellbeing, ensuring these areas operate as a coherent and highly effective system. With expert knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice, you will a lead high-quality provision, line manage and develop staff, and ensure effective identification of need alongside impactful interventions. You will work closely with colleagues across the school to align pastoral and behaviour systems, strengthen support for vulnerable learners, and ensure robust safeguarding and attendance practices.

The role also involves leading the use of data, diagnostics and tracking systems to inform provision and drive outcomes, as well as coordinating multi-agency support and chairing inclusion meetings. As a senior leader, you will contribute to whole-school strategy, lead cultural change around inclusion and high expectations, and play a key role in improving outcomes for all students.
