What difference will you make?
This is a vital role which ensures the continued delivery of our services to vulnerable and distressed children. As a Trustee you will have a real opportunity to use your expertise and knowledge to help shape the strategic direction of the charity.
What are we looking for?
You will ideally have some experience in either the Education or Health sectors, although we would welcome new trustees from a wide range of backgrounds and skillsets. Importantly you will have an overriding desire to give something back to this wonderful charity committed to supporting distressed children.
What will you be doing?
Mentor Link is a specialist charity dedicated to providing a listening and support service to vulnerable and distressed children throughout the West Midlands. Established in 2002, we have grown in stature each year, in order to meet the continued and increasing demands on our services from children facing social and emotional difficulties and overall mental health issues. We are now looking to recruit an additional Trustee to join our board and to help shape our dynamic strategy whilst supporting our CEO and fellow board members.
* Attend half-termly meetings in our Stourport on Severn head office
* Participate in a full day’s mentor training induction course
* Support the CEO and fellow board members in shaping strategic direction
