Purpose of the role
The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the weighbridge function and coordinating transport plans.
Additionally, it includes the efficient management of available resources at the sites and depots within their jurisdiction.
Key Activities
1. Processing vehicles and resources daily.
2. Maintaining database records for resource requirements.
3. Ensuring the centralised transport plan is fulfilled.
4. Ensuring drivers follow instructions and procedures as per the drivers' folder.
5. Managing drivers on a day-to-day basis.
6. Liaising with other departments such as maintenance, works, and central planning.
7. Maintaining good industrial relations, including disciplinary procedures.
8. Keeping company vehicles clean inside and out.
9. Conducting site inductions as required.
10. Following IMS procedures related to work activities.
11. Recording and investigating customer complaints.
12. Analyzing drivers' tachographs.
Job requirements
