Kitchen Team Leader – St Andrews Premier Inn
Join our team at Premier Inn in St Andrews as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career. You’ll manage the kitchen daily – overseeing rotas, food orders, leading the team during busy services, and ensuring audit readiness. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene standards. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for those aspiring to become a Head Chef.

Up to £13.81 per hour
HOURS:
30 hours over 5 days per week – guaranteed hours to help plan your week

What you’ll do:
As a Kitchen Team Leader, take the next step in your Chef career. Manage the kitchen, lead the team, create our popular meals, and contribute to the UK’s leading hospitality business, Whitbread.
• Own food ordering, stock control, and managing food costs across the hotel.
• Lead during service – organizing the team, managing workflow, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to specifications – from Premier Inn breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure the kitchen complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards – training the team and maintaining records.
• Step up when needed – running shifts and helping new team members settle in.
