The Governing Body of Deighton Primary School wishes to appoint a highly motivated and talented primary practitioner to join our highly successful team who will continue to support our successful team.
We are seeking to employ an outstanding classroom teacher who has high standards of expectations and commitment to enable children to achieve the highest possible standards and contribute to our motto of Resilience, Respect, Writing your future one day at a time.
You should:
•Be an excellent classroom teacher with proven high expectations of all children, both academically and socially.
•A forward thinker with innovative ideas.
•Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum for Wales and be able to inspire and motivate children who are excited about their learning.
•Be willing to play an active role in all aspects of school life, including clubs and taking responsibility for curriculum areas.
•Have an excellent understanding of ICT both as a teaching and learning tool.
•Have high expectations of everyone in our learning community.
•Be fully committed to raising standards in learning.
•Be a flexible, well organised and highly motivated professional.
•Be able to work in partnership with a team of supportive colleagues.
•Be able to communicate effectively with parents and outside agencies.
•Have a sound knowledge of the ALN bill.
