The Risk & Compliance Assurance and Testing (RCAT) team is part of the second line of defense within the Risk & Compliance function, evaluating the effectiveness of processes and controls related to risk and compliance, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
We are seeking a VP, Financial Crime Compliance Testing Officer to join our RCAT team in Manchester on a hybrid basis.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of U.S. banking laws and regulations, especially BSA/AML and sanctions laws. Familiarity with global ATE and ABC laws is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing the Compliance Testing and Monitoring plans
* Determining test scopes and designing strategies
* Preparing and reviewing workpapers according to standards
* Building stakeholder relationships globally
* Communicating findings and preparing management reports
* Identifying areas for improvement and supporting issues management
* Leading transformation initiatives within RCAT
Required skills include:
* Strong knowledge of U.S. banking laws, especially BSA/AML and sanctions
* High-quality work delivery and adaptability
* Excellent communication skills, including presentation to senior management
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
* Experience in complex banking or financial services organizations
* CAMS qualification is a plus
