About the Role
As our HR Adviser, you'll be the go-to person for all things HR; from day-to-day support and policy guidance to driving strategic HR initiatives that align with business goals. You'll work closely with employees and department heads to support and develop our people, ensuring compliance and promoting best practice across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with the Head of HR to support her in all HR related matters including:
* Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law
* Assisting on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance matters
* Supporting onboarding and induction processes
* Coordinating performance review cycles and supporting employee progression
* Ensuring accurate HR records and compliance with GDPR and employment legislation
* Assisting with payroll inputs, benefits, and absence management
* Contributing to HR projects, employee engagement strategies, and wellbeing initiatives
* Assisting with offboarding processes and conducting exit interviews
What We're Looking For
* Solid generalist HR experience, ideally within a fast-paced or growing organisation
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
* CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
