You will be working with myself, a 40 year old lady, who suffers from chronic systematic arthritis and is wheelchair bound with limited upper body strength and sadly loosing more of my own independence each month.
Duties to include helping me maintain a family home based in ST5, assisting me with daily tasks, personal care, medication management, skin integrity ,regular observations once trained, hoisting etc.
A more detailed job description can be discussed at interview stages.Flexibility available for days and/or night's depending on desired preference to shifts
12 hour shifts on a set rota
The team will be working on a 2-1 basis with my other wonderful, friendly team members.
The offer of overtime is available if desired to allow for other team members annual leave etc.
Full complex care certification training given in the role.
Care experience is preferable but not essential as full training is provided.
A full clean driving licence is essential to use my motability van to get to hospital appointments, days out etc.
The ideal candidates will need a genuine passion to care and a good sense of humour helps
The ability to problem solve and act wisely is always welcomed. We also are dog lovers and have 3 very affectionate dogs who will want to follow you around for fuss. Contracted positions with a pension if eligible.
5.6 weeks per annum annual leave
4 weekly pay PAYE
A full enhanced DBS will be required if you don't have one already on the update service and I will cover the cost.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be 18+ for insurance purposes.
