Senior Civil Technician (Infrastructure & Drainage)Fareham
Salary up to £50,000
An established and growing engineering consultancy based in Fareham is seeking a skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our infrastructure team.
They deliver a wide range of development infrastructure projects across the South Coast and beyond, supporting residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes from feasibility through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys technical responsibility and working within a collaborative, close-knit team.
Working as a Senior Civil Technician you will;
You will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure and drainage designs, supporting engineers and taking ownership of drawing production and technical coordination.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing detailed highway, infrastructure, and drainage drawings
* Designing and modelling surface water and foul drainage systems
* Producing S38, S278, and S104 technical packages
* Coordinating with engineers, clients, and external consultants
* Assisting with flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
* Ensuring compliance with local authority and statutory requirements
About You
* Proven experience as a Civil Technician within a UK consultancy
* Strong knowledge of infrastructure and drainage design standards
* Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience desirable)
* Experience producing adoptable highway and drainage layouts
* Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK design standards
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
