Job Title: Community Occupational Therapist Grade: Band 6 Location: Brighton, Sussex Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client’s community-based team in Brighton, Sussex. This position is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of patients with a range of physical, cognitive, and functional needs. You will carry out holistic assessments in patients’ homes, develop and implement personalised treatment plans, and provide interventions aimed at promoting independence and improving quality of life. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with families and carers, and ensure timely and accurate documentation. The role also involves contributing to discharge planning, equipment provision, and home adaptations where necessary.
