Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to lead and supervise the installation of new lifts, ensuring they are completed on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves providing training, support, and regular quality checks while collaborating with management to track progress and resolve on‑site challenges.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise quality installations, conducting on‑site inductions and training for new installers.
* Complete surveys and report any issues to clients and the Orona Contract Manager, preparing comprehensive reports for review.
* Perform regular mechanical and electrical quality checks at key stages to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Deliver constructive feedback and additional training where necessary to maintain high installation quality.
* Manage a diverse team of installation professionals, motivating them and adapting leadership style as needed.
* Create a positive work environment and address performance issues quickly and fairly.
* Prioritise health, safety and environmental regulations, ensuring all team members use proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
* Deliver toolbox talks and maintain a safety‑first mindset at all times.
* Track installation progress and communicate key updates with the installation team and management.
* Ensure all job sheets, reports, and quality checks are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
* Maintain strong relationships with on‑site clients, keeping them updated on installation progress.
* Ensure the team has access to the right tools and equipment for each project, ensuring proper maintenance and certification.

Requirements
* Proven background in lift installation with strong knowledge of EN‑81 and lift wiring systems.
* Technical skills: set out triplex and specials, handle installations up to 7 floors across hydraulic, MRL, and traction systems.
* Leadership: able to manage and develop your team through coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
* Safety‑First: deep understanding of health, safety & environmental risks and proactive in implementing safe working practices.
* Problem Solver: capable of identifying issues on‑site and finding solutions quickly to keep the project on track.
* Communication: clear communicator with the ability to build relationships with both the installation team and clients.
