Finance Assistant
Norwich, NR5 8BF - 2 days per week in the office & 3 days home working
* Full time, Monday – Friday (9am – 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week)
* Permanent position
* £25,000 per annum

The Role
We are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join our small, friendly finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and post-sales and purchase invoices
* Review and manage debtors and creditors
* Perform data entry and regular bank reconciliations
* Process expense claims and company credit card statements
* Support the Financial Controller with accruals and prepayments
* Liaise with internal teams and group subsidiaries to gather financial data
* Undertake ad hoc tasks to support the finance function

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is enthusiastic about advancing their career in finance. You will be highly organised and eager to learn new skills. About you:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel)
* Knowledge of accounting software (Sage preferred)
* Experience with bank reconciliations and invoice processing
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
