Head of Finance– Social Impact Organisation

A growing national charity is looking for a Head of Finance to join its leadership team at a pivotal stage of expansion.
This organisation works with schools, families and local services to ensure children and young people can access the support and opportunities they need to thrive. With strong demand for its model and the potential for significant growth, this is a unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a scaling social impact organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the COO, the Head of Finance will lead the finance function and act as a strategic partner to the Executive Team and Board. A key focus will be multi-year financial planning, cashflow management and financial modelling to support regional growth and an innovative outcomes-based funding model.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the organisation’s 5-year financial plan and scenario modelling
• Oversight of cashflow forecasting, treasury management and working capital
• Financial modelling and monitoring of social investment and loan finance
• Delivering high-quality reporting to the Executive Team, Board and Finance Committee
• Leading statutory accounts, audit, compliance and financial controls
• Managing and developing the finance team
About You
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience leading a finance function in a growing organisation
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting and controls
• Confident presenting financial insight to senior stakeholders and boards
• Proven team leadership experience
